robin grilled for me and preetham last night. made wonderful yummy food, and cut and prepared everything himself (for the most part). i love the invention of the grill!! (and i love my hubby as well!).
afterwards we went to dairy queen, where i had a little sundae (of which i ate only a half), and robin had the peanut buster parfait, and preeth had the strawberry shortcake sundae. anyway, we went around 8:45, and we were outside the place eating the sundae and enjoying the weather, when my evil side hit me. why evil? being that it closes at 9:00 and we were outside at the time...well, i watched as people smiled with the full intent of enjoying ice cream on such a beautiful night, people who saw us and others eating happily...only to find that the door was locked. there were two girls that just stood at the door for about 3 minutes, in shock.am i not evil in finding it slightly funny?

my cousin anu had her baby last night. how exciting. i can't wait to see her and the little one. i know that they were expecting a boy, so that must be what they had. so my little favorite "niece" shreya will have a little brother now. i wonder how she will react to not being the center of attention? i am going to try to spend some time with her i think, take her out a little, so that she handles it well and doesn't feel saddened at not being the one that her parents focus on.

i am forced to learn "asp" at work. apparently there is an urgency to learn it, to provide backup for another employee, who is the only one in our area who knows it. i love the idea of learning something new, but i don't like the idea of urgency!! i need to find a good book that will help me to learn!! there are some sites that i know of as well...i am going to try to find more.
