i saw a shooting star last night. it was beautiful and i got to make a wish.

our baseball team, the Twins are doing great, and are now advanced to the next stage in the World Series, to play against the Anaheim Angels. good luck Twins!

trip to madison and chicago was fun. the drive there was beautiful, trees with leaves of all colors. i love fall! leaves that are golden yellow, magenta, neon green, orange, burnt orange, red, pink, multiple colors on the same tree. it was like a beautiful painting. (i took pictures!! of course!!)
sri kanth, my cousin in madison, took us all to state street (a main street on the college campus, with bars, restaurants, shops,etc.,), and then to a german restaurant where robin, preeth, sri kanth, and his roommate all played truth or dare (after a beer or two) and chatted, and laughed. we also went to a nightclub where we avoided a fight that was to occur near us. made me think of another bar/club, in another city, in another country, where we (5 girls) happened to be, and where one of us accidently had a bottle thrown at her head. i hate drunk people and i hate bar fights, and i hate being at the wrong place at the wrong time. anyway, that was a while ago, and we all survived, as we survived this one in madison.
we only stayed one night, which sucks, b/c if we had more time i could have visited my friend ben and his wife lisa...sorry guys, if you are reading this.
next was chicago. i love this city. we went to devon street, little india in chicago. got tempted by beautiful indian jewelry and expensive salwar khameez's in the latest pants style...but i luckily, didn't buy anything...i am going to wait until i go to india to buy these things.
we also ate at a very good andhra restaurant on devon street and had samya poisum, yummy. afterwards, we all (not mom and dad of course!! hehe, mom and dad at a night club...:)) went to a cool nightclub that gautham, my brother who lives in chicago, took us to, pasha. very nice place. it was fun.
but two nights of staying up until 3 in the morning, and waking early, leaves me very tired!!
