jobless claims jump. "the number of people out of work for a week or more, rose to 3.57 million in the week ended April 5, the latest data available, from a revised 3.5 million the prior week.
i see the near future as even more foreboding, for after the war, we will have to spend alot of US money to fix a country that we destroyed. maybe the US plans on providing some jobs, if we are willing to travel to Iraq to help rebuild it. maybe that's how the US government wants to take care of it's people during the time when 3.57 million people are unemployed. course with all the layoffs, and airplanes go out of business or are bankrupt, due to the economy...one has to wonder how we would get to Iraq (or anywhere else). and if we don't have jobs to help us to earn money how would we have enough money to take the airplanes.
