another result of having so many republicans in office these days. "the House on Wednesday overwhelmingly passed a measure that would greatly increase the number of people who can legally carry concealed handguns in Minnesota. " yay. just what we need, more people who are afraid and with guns.





"A legislative estimate has projected that, if the measure is adopted, the number of Minnesotans with the licenses would rise from fewer than 12,000 now to 90,000 in three years." god damn. i hate this so much.



but there is actually someone in office with the heart to see the future, and the vision to see the possibilities of this bill:

""This is not the conceal-and-carry bill; this is the conceal-and-kill bill," said Rep. Ron Latz, DFL-St. Louis Park."

my little niece shreya spent the evening w/mom,dad, preeth,robin and nancy's mom and i last night. i love being around her, she leaves me happy for at least 2 days afterwards. so cute and so energetic.



but she did mention a bully in her school, someone who made a comment towards her. ugh! i would love to go to her school and yell at that kid. teach some sense, for it appears that no one else has. the possibility of shreya being hurt angers me, saddens me and scares me.



why do bullies exist, how can you avoid them, what can you do stop them from affecting a child (yours or others?)?
