hi. thanks to my friend sophia, i gave robin the evening off (from me!:)). sophia and i went to see a movie named'my big fat greek wedding...wonderful movie, very funny, and john corbett isn't too bad either! definitely worth seeing i think...about a 'real' woman who is greek, and is first generation it seems...she is very americanized but raised in a tight knit greek family. she is a bit overweight and frumpy....she doesn't want to work for her dad in his restaurant, and wants instead to go to school. but he thinks that she needs to get married (she is 30) and not worry about school...anyway, read ebert's review on the link to the movie.



then we went shopping, and bought some hip,cool, fun and young clothes from 'heartbreakers'...i think that we both need an ego boost, and some hip, sexy fun clothes might help!! now we just need places to wear them.

after that, we walked around uptown to try to find a good place to hang out outside, for the weather was perfect!! about 85 degrees. we specifically wanted to go to non yuppie type of places, the kind we would go with our guys...but instead the cool, fun, crazy places we used to go with, with our other friend, kanaka...like the uptown bar, or, cc club, kinda dark, cool places...but, the uptown bar wasnt' serving food that late...bummer!!! they make the best bloody mary's!! we went to chino latino instead...ran into some girls that know preetham, my brother. we ate some wonderful food, taquitos, and some other yummy food! and mango cake with vanilla ice cream. yummy!!! overall a very fun evening. spent five hours, just hanging out in uptown, enjoying wonderful weather, looking cute and being seen and (looked at!! felt good, it's been a while!! don't feel as out of shape anymore).

thank you sophia, for getting me out of the house!! i had alot of fun, and it felt good to come home late. (robin stayed home and cleaned the kitchen...it looks awesome, so thank you robin!)
