monday, back from vacation/honeymoon.
honeymoon was not a honeymoon, but a vacation, because we had lots of family around us. we are all tired. i love ikea. i love the milwaukee art museum but milwaukee itself is ugly. also went to the milwaukee brewers vs chicago cubs baseball game in milwaukee, the stadium is beautiful and the 7th inning stretch had a race with guys dressed up as a hotdog, a polish dog, an italian sausage and a brat (?)...it was cute to see the guys with costumes, running. next morning we drove to chicago.
chicago, chicago...i would love to move to chicago! even saw an apt-a pretty one-for$1800/mth, thought seriously about moving there. walked alot and so feel a little bit more fit because of all the exercise that we have done. spent time with goat, preeth and my cousin srikanth, rishi and thida. was sick for 3 of the 4 days-stomach sickness. went to nice new restaurants and stayed at the hilton, along with quality inn and ambasador hotel. 3 hotels in 4 days. went to an indian club, zentra, and had fun. went to the john hancock and had cocktails and appetizers on the 98th floor in the signature room, with big windows showing the city, awesome view. went to devon street for dinner. took the el, yay!
then on sunday afternoon, we drove home, preeth and i in the saturn and robin in the ryder truck; started at 6...took too long to shop at ikea...and got home around 1am. stayed at mom and dad's sunday night. they love robin...it's soooo cool.
but, today i am back to work! yuck!! i wish i was still on vacation.

wedding memory: indian ceremony-hearing robin say that i looked beautiful. american ceremony-at the reception seeing everybody smile&laugh, the whole time, and roz's friend alberto telling me that he has not ever been to a better wedding and that he had been to at least twenty. and blake, robin's friend, telling me the same thing but ours was his first (:) ). (i think that the free alcohol might have helped to get everyone into a good mood, and the food and cake as well! :) )
