class last night was awesome. the play/screen writing class. it was amazing fun and i loved it. it is very much based on the idea that plays and movies are character driven...which i think that they are, but not always just 4 or 5 main characters, but even the small characters...anyway, we did this exercise in which the whole class participated (20 ppl?)...we each threw out a characteristic of a single character.first male,second 24yo,third from nyc,fourth 400 lbs and 5'10...yikes that definitely shows me a character of interest...then he loves to go dancing at nightclubs, then,he works as a tour guide in nyc...anyway, so on and so one. it was amazing how we all could create a person who was so interesting. my homework is to create a character, as intersting, by myself. wish me luck.
spent time with sophia, had appetizers before the play, chatted about life, etc., and then we went to her friend's house, a beautiful, gorgeous, extremely expensive, townhouse in downtown...yikes...it was amazing and she furnished it with the most beautiful things, antique light fixtures, silver/metallic fridge&oven, dark wood tables,yikes...and this friend was selling kurtas & shalwar kameezes, and, they were gorgeous. all sent from pakistan's body focus store, so the styles were different from what i was used to. but man, they were gorgeous. i bought one, a light purple one with the most amazing craftwork...but i spent way too much and i didn't tell robin that i bought it. do i need to? ?? do i ?? am i keeping secrets already or is it okay that i don't tell him EVERYTHING??
oh and i also had a pretty interesting conversation with a fellow blogger suku. does anyone have any comments? write me. the address is by my desc at the bottom of the page.
