busy w/e.
friday night i went to kavita daswani's book reading at the ruminator. (she signed my book this way: i hope that you may be able to tell your story.) i think that, that indeed is wonderful. she was informative, friendly, sweet, and interested in her readers. she spoke of the process of writing and india. regarding her writing being similar to others, it was cute that she said that you know in fact, it is cool to be compared to 'my big fat greek wedding' and other well known things, it is not disappointing to be compared, it is an honor.
it was fun. (i asked too many questions...which helped with the reading...but left me feeling as if i should have become a journalist as i had desired to be at the age of 16.)

saturday, i killed time. don't remember what i did exactly other than relax. oh yeah, i went out to eat with robin and had yummy thai food.

sunday, i met preetham's new girl. i like her alot. she is a wonderful girl who is very easy to talk to. i know that preetham likes her alot b/c he was actually kind of shy with her. i wish you luck younger brother.
i also met with the writing group, and enjoyed their company alot, but realized that i am having an uninspired time right now in regards to writing.
one other thing i did on sunday was start packing. i am getting ansy now though about moving to mom and dad's. by the way i wonder if the word 'ansy' is related to 'anxious'. it seems to have similar meanings and a similar sound.

one more thing, my hair was driving me crazy, (it's at that ugly length, but i was trying to grow it out!!!), so i picked up a pair of scissors and cut it by two or three inches. i like it actually.
