leaving for san fran in two days. got advice from jish on some places to visit, including an out of the way bar and a couple of interesting neighborhoods. he is very sweet for taking the time to write to me with suggestions. it's no wonder that he has so many fans!

robin shaved off his beard. he only had the beard for two or three months...but i hardly recognize him now that he's shaven it off. it's as if i had never seen him clean shaven.

being that i am traveling in two days...and that i needed a suitcase...and that i happened to be in Rainbow (a very large grocery store)...well...in desperation, i bought...yes....a suitcase...from a grocery store. robin was too embarrased to stand in line with me. i was too embarrased to stand in line, period. but i did it. i bought a suitcase from Rainbow. people were looking at me and smiling, possibly at my embarrasment, or possibly at the silliness of it. either way, i have a suitcase, and i have groceries. the suitcase is cool looking by the way, so you should go buy one yourself.
