tumbling princess and squabling princes

Today started off with s- boy and m-boy yelling at me, 'no i don't want to get up', 'why do i have to brush my teeth first'...which led to more yelling and other not-so-wanted behavior. by the way, r-man decided to let them watch a movie on a monday night, a movie that lasted until 8:30. that will never happen again.

a-girl and i had a good day though, tumbling, talking about opposites, dancing together and singing...and tantrums when it came to a much needed nap (a nap for me of course, which i could not do unless she took one).

now the day is ending. coloring, and finishing homework, upcoming dinner battles and bath and then sleep for them. i seem to look forward to their sleep time lately which is sad. i would love to spend more non-battle, laughter filled time as i did before their school started, but none-the-less, this is our life for the next 11 years of school. i will take them in any way i can right now before they're off to better, more fun places in the upcoming years, like football games, other people's houses, etc.,
