there is good and there is really good

this weekend was amazing. going out to eat, twice! went out again last night using a gift card from my brother p, a place i love. seafood, yumm. i went with the boys, s-boy and m-boy, alone. it was amazing. we talked about different things and i didn't yell or act like their mommy, at least not the "enforcing the rules" kind.  i let them eat what and when they wanted, i let them talk about whatever they wanted, and surprisingly did not have to hear the words that boys their age like to use. yay!

i definitely recommend to all the parents out there to take a night out with a kid, or a couple of the older ones, and just enjoy spending time with them.

in regards to the weather, the snow is melting slowly but surely. it will be time to wear dresses again, and no boots or winter coats. yay again!

"the best weekend ever" was what the boys said. by the way, there was also no tv, video games or computer games...and they still said it was the best weekend ever.
