mom and dad are back from their trip to india. they left india, a warm, wonderful happy place, to come back to their home, where it is -10 degrees.

my question to all indians is this: why is jewelry so important? with the money spent on jewelry i could put a down payment on a car...or pay my mortgage for a month...or i don't know...alot of practical things. but instead i get to see/wear pretty/beautiful/gorgeous jewelry once in a while.

mom called this morning at 8:00, i went to work yesterday at 7:00, and decided to drive with robin today at 8:30, so she thought that i stayed home cause i was sick. 'you sound like you have a full fledged cold'. no mom, i told you, i have a stuffed nose and it is very common with a pregnancy. 'do you still have a headache', not this morning mom, but it goes with the stuffed nose, and stress, and all of it is because i am pregnant.
so here it starts. my mom worrying all of the time about me. it's sweet...but mom...i am okay!
