i woke up this morning with these thoughts,of which i stated to a sleeping hubs, who ignored me:

what if we can't figure out how to potty train our children?

what if they won't listen to us?

what if we can't teach them to not cross streets unless we're with them?

i think that i am getting nervous.

a coworker called himself an 'indian giver' jokingly, when he gave me something and took it back. emily and i just looked at each other when he said it. i said, 'oh, but didn't the whites give things to indians that they should have taken back...like alcohol, diseases and cigarettes?'
