what a nice weekend it was. went out to eat big bowl last thursday night and had very good asian food. friday night, robin and i stayed home and i made (actually heated frozen) parotas with jalepeno jelly and fish, we chilled and watched tv together...it's been a long time since we had done that.



saturday morning we went to a open house with mom and preeth, and saturday night, preetham,robin and i went out with some friends. we went to a english bar and had a great time talking and having a beer. i also had french fries (chips) with curry sauce as a dip vs. ketchup. we then went to a new bar, martini blu. cool atmosphere, it was busy and had pretty people dressed up for each other. one of the people that we went out with had a hard time going out in something other than jeans...so he definitely found this place different, a place where people dressed up very stylishly and in mostly black...i think that he liked the place though. and we all had great conversations throughout the evening, conversations about relationships, style, people trying to find mates, the difference between stylish people and people that wear jeans...it was a good evening.



sunday morning was spent going to another open house and then getting stuck in front of the house because robin's car would not get into the first gear, which meant that he could not drive it at all. long story short, the afternoon involved a tow truck, a brother who picked us up (very nice) and driving 80mph on a 55mph speed limit to get mom to work in time(i know, i know, i really should stop driving so fast). the rest of the evening was spent with dad, and talking about what type of changes he and mom could make, to get along.
