space shuttle disintegrates, leaving 7 dead, and possibly more affected by the debris.



it is a strange feeling to know that this happened. the people were in the process of living their dream, pursuing something that could possibly be one of the greatest events in their life...



with the violence all over the news, whether it involves gun shots, rape, war, terrorism, murder, all sorts of agressive acts of violence...this one event caused such sorrow and shock to so many. this event seems to have awoken the immunity to see violence and death as just that...rather than another event on the news.
