how can someone not believe in karma, in fate? it's the only way i can understand and accept why things happen. i have to believe that everything happens for a reason, and that everything will work out. the last part is perhaps not necessarily part of the belief in karma, but it helps me with accepting things, if i know that 'it's all good' and that good things will happen soon enough.



is that a little naive? probably. but i need it, i need to believe that sh*t happens but at the end you'll be happy and everything will work out and give you good things.



-> a friend of mine is having a hard time finding THE(all caps) job. he keeps getting jobs that just are not a fit for him, and he is getting very sad and frustrated, b/c he is starting to question why this is happening to him, and is it him? is he lacking something to make the jobs work? i tell him that everything is for a reason, and that it'll all work out for him at the end...and that possibly he is meant to be doing something else right now, maybe to travel to india or to go get a masters or something. i want the best for him, but he's having the worst luck right now. :(
