hi there. i remember a time when i wrote on this blog every day! what happened to me?

what have i been doing lately? well,i went to my friend neza's baby shower. i can't believe that she's going to have a baby soon! yikes...the baby (they think that the baby will be a girl) is going to be sooo cute, a mixture of her dad, who is from mexico, and has very dark hair, and very dark eyes, and her mom, who has red hair and blue eyes. i bought her too many (is there such a thing?) presents! :) which i am actually glad about, b/c neza's been in my life for so long, and is such a positive spirit...anyway, i got to see the old gang from college, the misa (minnesota international student's association) crowd. i loved seeing them, all grown up but still fun and funny. robin loved them.
acutally neza's value really hit me recently b/c, she and her family invited my younger brother preetham to a bbq shower for neza. neza and her hubby demetrio, well...they're super people, who take the time to talk to him, and actually feel a value for him, rather than as mamatha's little brother. i think that this is very cool, and truly shows how kind they are, reminding me of the days in college when neza and her family invited the whole international community to thanksgiving dinner. all the other students had families to go to for thanksgiving, but the international students of course didn't (foreign students from mexico, ireland, india, pakistan, africa,china,etc.,).

we spent time with preeth as well on saturday, we all went shopping and walked around and ate at a thai restaurant. anyway, i bought a color printer. yay!!! now i can print the pictures i take on the digi cam. yay!!! i am soooo happy!! i won't buy posters anymore, i'll just print photos! by the way, my friend kari's going to be getting married soon, so i am going to try to come up with a unique present of a cool photo in a neat frame...it's the kind of thing that i love to do, and it's also the kind of thing that she would do (as would neza!).
speaking of the kind of things that we would do. i love having creative friends. i wonder what others feel is important in friendships, in finding new friends...
