okay the world really scares me sometimes. thousands of people are accused of using ATMs to steal $15 million from a municipal employees' credit union whose computer security system was damaged on Sept. 11. people realized that the bank's computer system was down but they could still get money out of the ATM. so they take out money, and they take out money, some as much as 14,000 dollars. and now they are caught.
and this...Two men whose van jumped a curb and crashed into pedestrians died after an angry mob pulled them out and beat them with bricks, witnesses and police said. apparently they lost control of the van. lost control. it was an accident. an accident that left people hurt, but it was still an accident. the crowd got angry and beat two human beings to death.

i tried to find sites that say the total number of deaths on both sides, and i can't for the life of me believe the number b/c i don't think that anyone really knows.

all i know is that everytime i hear news of this area, and of the fighting all over the world, i feel like crying. as i sit here in my comfortable home, i can only feel saddened by what the news is telling me of the lives of the people around me.

and then finding out about my sources...like cnn, which is good for some things, but definitely not reliable in fairly covering the israel and palestine war.
