friday night and saturday night were spent at herkimer, a bar/restaurant on 29th and Lyndale. friday night i went with robin, and we had a great time watching a basketball game and a baseball game (simultaneously). i do love this bar cause it's more of a joint, a place to hang out. it's a casual, friendly bar, that is still cool. i love seeing the local musicians, as well as tasting the yummy herkimer-brewed beer. the sweet potatoe fries and the dips for the pretzels also rock. i loved it so much that i went there saturday night with sophia and met up with emily. afterwards, emily took us to a birthday party of a friend of her's. the party was fun, but i especially meeting the friend's girlfriend. she was wonderful and so friendly...and she makes hats!! she said she knows exactly what she would make for me. annalee of ruby3, i am looking forward to seeing that hat!



the party was fun also for the reason that we met a musician, whose band apparently has the jayhawks/wilco sound...robin and i are definitely gonna try to see them sometime soon. the musician also made me realize how much i miss the music business!! sophia keeps telling me to get back into booking bands. speaking of which, i have to go see leroy smokes soon...i haven't seen them play since the days when i used to book them.

i spent some of thursday surfing and i found some interesting blogs as well as some very cool info. aishwarya rai is rumoured to be the next bond girl. a gorgeous indian girl is the next bond girl. awesome...i gotta be happy about 'a sister' making it big in the US. :)

worldgonewrong, the name says it all really. i am not sure how i got to his blog, but i do like reading it.
