suku asked me what my life as a house was like.

so here goes. it manipulated your feelings, it made you laugh, it made you cry, it made you stare at the screen in shock. the setting of the movie is beautiful, with palm trees, cliffs and the ocean. the dialog seemed realistic. hayden christiansen was gorgeous and acted very well. kevin kline acted well of course, a very experienced actor, and his character was a very interesting one. a man that you felt sorry for but yet felt proud of. the love story was good, in its subtle way, it was not the main story, but it played well with the movie. it was more the love between the father and son, and the effects of divorce, as well as the result of being raised around too much money and not a lot of love and discipline. it left my friends and i silent as the credits were shown. we all looked at each other and smiled amidst a few tears welling up in our eyes. but we all decided that raising kids is going to be very, very tough.

(suku, reviewing movies is tough, i know that i am not good at it, but this movie definitely leaves you with emotions, and may be a bit hard to watch occasionaly, but...well worth watching i think.)
