insulin pump
i am wearing the pump!! i got the pump attached to me yesterday. the training took over 2 hours and i had agirl there during the whole thing which was a little frustrating...but it really wasn't as bad as it sounds. i was nervous to put the needle in, and there was a lot to learn but i was so excited that it was worth it. it IS worth it. why hadn't i gotten one before.

knowing that i have to check my blood sugar and punch in info and check 3 hours after taking the insulin, well, all this, makes me eat less. this is a good thing. i started to snack on something but spit it out immediately when i remmebered that i forgot to check my blood sugar and to take the insulin. i tasted the snack though, and i think that i really only needed to just taste something yummy.
how strange to realize that one sometimes only needs to taste something vs. eating the entire thing.
