there is about 10 inches of snow outside, and it's still snowing.
on the upside-it's beautiful and not so cold. on the downside-where the heck are the damn snowplows...i can't drive on these streets.

a friend at work, who undergoes kidney dialysis treatments three times a week, will be competing in the ironman triathlon. here's his site or possibly assist him in providing funding for him.
i talked to him recently about why he did his website, and he answered: i wanted to let others know that you can do anything, even run a triathlon, even if you are having to undergo such medical treatments. esp, for those who are recently finding out that they are going to be needing dialysis. he and i talked about what a cool thing it would be to have some sort of program that would let us talk to folks about things like living with diabetes in my case, and in my friend's case, kidney dialysis treatments.
