my husband is such a goofball. yesterday when we were trying to go to sleep...he had the biggest smile on his face. he looked like a 2 year old kid that was looking forward to his big birthday party tomorrow, and that barney, elmo and the teletubbies will be making an appearance.

anyway, the reason for his extreme happiness and giddiness? the cubs just signed greg maddux, a brilliant pitcher apparently. i personally think that they have some kick-a** pitchers already, but i guess one more great one won't hurt. i hope that they win the series this year...and that no more bad luck strikes them.

for now though, we'll enjoy seeing the games. and hubs is looking forward to our trip to phoenix at the beginning of march...and wants to see at least 2 of the spring training games. i am not sure that i can sit through 3 hour games...but i will try...do they sell carrots and other nutritious things there that pregnant women should eat?:) probably not.



i guess the babies will 'see' their first game(s), even before they are born.
