i haven't blogged in a while and i can't write alot today...but in sum. i've been to california and back. kavitha's wedding was fun...they did the shoe game which was different for me (where the bride's family steals the groom's shoe, and the two families wrestle to get the shoe back, and if the bride's family wins, then the groom tries to buy the shoe back), and kavitha looked gorgeous. it was fun getting dressed up, i wore a sari, which was fun (thank you aunties for helping me to look like i've always worn a sari!), and a beautiful pakistani kurta and a long indian skirt...



san francisco is beautiful. being near the water in warm weather (65F degrees, perfect!) is such a nice way to spend a vacation. we saw alcatraz, went to chinatown and went to some restaurants and cool bars. the best part of all this was that we got to experience all this with family i haven't seen in a while(my cousins, aunt, uncle).

what else? i have been getting ready for a holiday party. it's a christmas party that won't be in christmas time, and being that i am not christian, i decided to do it two weeks earlier. i put up a tree, and i have been lovingly purchasing ornaments with robin. our first christmas as husband and wife.

sophia, kamini and i went out to see ian whitney off last night. we went to just to meet other mn bloggers really. the restaurant chosen is beautiful and the food was pretty good. moscow on the hill. we really didn't meet other mn bloggers but it was good to meet ian and mostly to have a chat with the sophia and kamini.
