i finally got to see lord of the rings-twin towers last night. i loved it. i don't want to give anything away, but i must say that the characters were more developed this time...esp aragorn and sam and frodo...the special effects were amazing, the fighting scenes were fun to watch, and there was alot of it. i have heard people say that it's beautiful but w/o a story line, but i disagree with them in that i think that there was a story line. the scenery and lighting was gorgeous, and suku i also want to go to australia now (or was it made in new zealand?).

i still want to see the new harry potter movie, catch me if you can and gangs of new york. there is also a movie about virginia woolf 'hours' that i want to see.

i had a wonderful couple of weeks with family and friends, robin's family and friends, my family...lots of love, fun, smiles, presents, and games. i got to see more of the town that robin is from, a fairly small town named 'paris' (yes i went to paris for xmas...okay it was paris illinois...!:)). i got to meet his friends from his pre-mamatha life, and i liked them alot, got into an arguement about guns with one of them, a police officer now...but it was a learning arguement vs. an angry one. spent time with robin's twin brother and his wife. and spent time with his mother and mother's dog (did i mention that both robin and i are allergic to animals, so we had a tough time with his mom's dog and his brother's cat!).

we also spent time with my family before xmas and after xmas.
