boys and girls

bikes, walks, and pics of buds on trees. enjoying the scenery of minnesota, snow melting away revealing the green grass that has been hidden for a long long time. older children letting out excess energy on bike rides...younger children learning to pedal and losing energy in the process...me getting exercise as i monitor two kids and teach one. sid said i looked skinny today when i wore jeans. yay.

goat and jess came over and tore down a piece of the house that has existed since 1989, when my parents bought the house. a room divider, sheet rock on the bottom half of the wall and 1980's spindles on the top half. mom was reluctant and dad was excited. after the demolition was done by goat and r-man, there was the result of holes on the wall which needed repair. i watched in awe as my future sis-in-law drilled, sheet rocked and basically worked her butt off doing things i've never done...while wearing pretty light blue sweatpants looking like a girl. i am glad she's going to be part of the family, she'll be a good role model for a-girl.
