losing weight

trying to lose weight is tough. having children that bring alot of stress to your day and knowing that you eat badly when you're stressed - this makes it even harder.

robin is losing weight, he runs and eats really really really well. damn't. so i guess i have to get the show on the road as well.

ani and i take walks during the day but is it helping? a little i suppose, and i get to take pics of birds and things while we walk around the lake. but obviously we are not walking very fast.

yesterday when i hit the grocery store, i did look earnestly for fat-free/low cal options. i am trying, i really am. but i don't want to give up flavor, i don't want to eat things that taste horribly. argh. robin eats brocolli steamed, a grilled chicken and a potato. does it really fill him up? is he really ok with the lack of flavor... he loves my mom's spicy food...how does he eat like that?

maybe i should do gastric bypass? :) ok i am not there just yet...but that would appear to be an easy solution to have science do the job of losing weight for you. of course it should be reserved for those in need of it for medical reasons only!
