may 7th--started my bedrest at home. just slept alot and watched tv.
may 19th--had contractions, was worried so i went in to the emergency room. the babies are only 29 weeks old.
may 19th---was told by the docs that i had dilated to 3 centimeters already. i will need to complete my bedrest in the hospital under constant watch, and with lots of meds to curb the contractions.
may 19th to may 31st---experienced alot of contractions, and a lot of boredom laying in bed all day. the meds have caused me to lose alot of muscle, actually my weight had gone down by at least 20 pounds---all muscle.
may 31st--the contractions came at full speed and it turns out that i am dilated 8 centimeters. the docs said to stop all meds.
then they said, let's do it. they also suggested that the worst part was over, (damn the contractions hurt, but when the nurses had asked me on a scale of 1 to 10, how painful it was, i had no idea of what 10 was, just that it hurt alot, an awful lot). anyway...
i delivered naturally, no drugs whatsoever, yikes. and vaginally.
now i am the mom of two very cute little boys. both are in the hospital still, because they were born premature (30 weeks and 4 days)...but they are in good health.

hubs and i feel very lucky and are definitely proud parents.
