hello journal. it's august 30th. okay i slacked a little. a lot. i am sorry. i will try to pick it up again.

what's been happening? well. kanaka is engaged, did i tell you that already? i saw jr's ring that he will give susan and i know that kim and roger will get married.

anyway. i met with robin's mom and reid and alicia this past week when i went to chicago and bloomington and paris. i love chicago. goat met robin and liked him. we had a great time. both good and bad, survived the bad and enjoyed each other after 9 hours of driving each way.

what an amazing man. i adore him. he always finds ways to make the situation better and i am always patient enough to not get annoyed.



anyway, dad retired. that's crazy. my daddy is not working for padco anymore. his whole life was padco. since 1975 i think. i have no idea what it is like to be him. i feel bad because life will be different for him but i am happy that he and mom are enjoying their time together, going for walks, eating out more, etc, i wished that he would talk to me more. maybe i should move back until robin and i get married?



what else? work is good, although, i am getting annoyed with cgs...i do enjoy working on the web and learning html although frontpage is encouraged rather than hardcoding. writing crystal reports is not the task that is keeping me heavily occupied although that is my role, i do have other projects and areas of work.



sophia and i are developing our friendship again. YAY!!



the writing group is not going so well. everyone is too busy or less interested. we will have to start over and look for new group members.
